Accessibility Statement

e-Nirikshak is built to meet the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

If you encounter a barrier on any page, please report it to the procuring entity named on the tender concerned, quoting the page address and what you were trying to do.

• Text resizing. The A- / A / A+ controls in the header resize all page content, up to 125 percent, and the setting persists across pages.
• High contrast mode. A toggle in the header switches the site to a black-on-white palette. Status information remains readable as text, never by colour alone.
• Keyboard navigation. Every control is reachable and operable from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Skip to main content. The first focusable element on every page bypasses the header and navigation.
• Semantic markup. Headings are properly ordered, tables carry header cells with scope, and every form control has an associated label.
• Contrast. All text meets a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against its background.
• Bilingual content. The interface carries Hindi and English, with the correct language attribute on each so screen readers pronounce both correctly.

Tender documents are published as PDFs prepared by the procuring entity. Where such a document is a scanned image, its text is not available to assistive technology. The platform flags pages with no extractable text layer, and a bidder who cannot read a document should request an accessible copy from the procuring entity named on the tender.

The evidence viewer renders document pages visually. The passage behind every finding is also presented as text alongside the viewer, so no determination depends on being able to see the rendered page.
